Situation

Commercial painting company with several high-profile clients decided to expand year-round, full-service business 20% by: (1) increasing the number of out-of-season bid notifications received; and (2) improving the ratio of jobs won to the number of proposals submitted.
 
Challenge
16-person firm, with three full-time office staffers; 12 seasonal employees; and no marketing pipeline, online presence or system for responding quickly to RFPs.
 
ProScouts Solution

Branded company. Created marketing campaign focused on central message that stressed firm's client list, expertise, mid-level rates and on-demand services.

Created marketing collateral.  Designed corporate-grade brochures, mailers, postcards and other print media; and developed easy-to-use templates for composing professional proposals, sales letters and other documents quickly. 

Built website. Combined images of completed marquee jobs, in Flash movie format, with industry news, FAQs and an online request form to allow prospects to get additional info about the company and to send bid notifications 24/7.

Developed bid tracking system. Used Microsoft Office software suite to create custom system for tracking bid submissions, requests for additional information, key follow-up dates, sponsor notes and other data.

Trained staff. Provided task-specific instruction in MS Access, Project, Excel, Flash, and HTML to allow client to manage systems and update marketing materials and website independently.
